You CAN Teach an Old Dog New Tricks

So, the internet was out last night until almost time for me to go to bed. By that time I was too tired to even think about posting. I didn't think I was addicted to technology until last night. You should have seen us -- Mr. Daddy and I were like two junkies waiting for our next fix. Nervous foot tapping, walking from room to room, constant checking to see if it was back up. Pitiful.

Yesterday I tried something new -- Pilates! And it was fun. Well, not fun fun but when it was over I felt gooooooood. Looser. I haven't had a good stretch in a really long time and I was surprised at how tight my body was. I've seen what Pilates can do for your body so I hope it will do that for my body.

No more time now. Gotta eat my cereal before it gets soggy. There are few things I hate more than soggy cereal.

Have a great day!

Good luck with the Pilates! I've got a video but it's way beyond me. Yikes.

Pilates is awesome. I am anxious to start doing it again, or, a modified version of it which I have on a yoga/pilates video. Stretching is GOOOOOOD. :)

Never have tried Pilates. Keep talking it up and I might give it a try.

Our Internet service used to go out for a few hours just about every day. It made me INSANE, almost to the point of violence. I totally feel ya' and how painful your evening must have been.

"like two junkies waiting for our next fix." That is so true! Don't tell though or someone will say we all need to go to IA.

Oh, do I wish that I had the time for exercise. Pilates would be awesome.

Oh yeah! Soggy cereal is the worst. But have you noticed Captain Crunch rips the heck out of the roof of your mouth. That one I have to let soak up some milk first.

Good for you on the pilates. I have been off the workout wagon for 3 months. I dread the pain of getting back on. I feel what your throwin', my friend.

HAHAHA! When I read "looser" my mind said "loser". ahhhh... I was confused. Mr. Farklepants and I are the same way when the internet goes out. Junkies is a perfect description.

Oh, my. I love yoga, but pilates almost killed me the one time I did it -- except I was laughing quite hard. If only my core was laughing along with me instead of AT me...
