One thing you need to know about me is that I'm kind of a music snob. I will secretly judge you if you like certain singers and bands. I live in a town that is full of awesome music. REM and the B52s got their start here. This is where great bands are born. But.
Miley Cyrus' "Hoedown Throwdown" makes me want to crank up my radio and dance in my car.
There. I said it.
Also? I don't hate Justin Bieber's "Baby."
Whew! That's a relief to get that off my chest! Woo, this feels pretty good...I think I'll keep going.
I like cheap beer. I don't mean like PBR or anything, though I have been known to drink it. But I do like Michelob and Coors. (AndreAnna, please don't scoff. I get enough ridicule from my husband, the beer snob!).
I like mariachi music. It's weird I know. I can't help it. I also like cowboy yodeling.
I like Grease 2 better than Grease 1.
Sometimes I listen to XM's Kids Place Live even when the kids aren't in the car.
I think Adrian Brody is kind of hot. Actually, I think he's really hot.
In a related note, I have a thing for guys with big noses. You know what they say...big noses, big....tissues! LOL!
They say confession is good for the soul. What's your dirty secret?

I often put on dramatic movie scores like from Lord Of The Rings and pretend that whatever mundane task I'm doing is indeed Very! Epic!
BIEBER!! I want to hate him, he's like 15 and singing about giving a girl a ring or something? but THAT SONG IS SO CATCHY!
My secret shame is my unabashed adoration of the "Real Housewives of...." franchise. I can't stop watching!
The TV show COPS. It is so ridiculous but I love it. And Adam Lambert.
I've been away too long! Had much to catch up on. Punkin sounds like my Griffin last year. In fact it was like looking in the mirror. His terms--totally. It's been a phase, and he is slowly moving out of it. But it has taken all of my patience (and to be a honest a few explosions.) I have just kept trying to communicate that sometimes it doesn't matter what he wants. Like--uh...not lining up after recess because "there are other things he wanted to do." What?! Yeah. He doesn't get to choose that. I even told his teacher I would come sit with him at recess next time. Argh.
I feel for you. It has been a looooong process. But he's learning...I think.
My confession? Uh...documentaries about prostitutes. Or serial killers. How do people get there? Fascinating. And a little weird on my part.
I have two...both involving music. One---I really like "Party in the USA" (but I'll deny it if you tell anyone!) and two---loooooove me some 80's hair bands. tee-hee
HA! I love your list. "Hoedown Throwdown" and "Party in the USA" are both on my walking play list. So catchy.
My guilty secret is that I sing to karaoke music in my car. :D So embarrassing!
I miss Athens so much! My freshman year, the B-52s played at the 40 Watt Club and I pushed my way to the front row so that Fred Schneider could sweat all over me as he sang.
Good times.
Oh, we are going to be such good friends! Grease 2???How to you feel about Breakin' 2?
My dirty secret is I love the CW. Actually that is not a secret. But I do. The new 90210, the new Melrose Place, Gossip Girl. Love.
OK, well, it's not secret that I'm down with the whole Jonas Brothers thing, and now I feel OK to admit that, if I don't KNOW it's him, I like that Bieber 'Baby, Baby' song, too. I just DO NOT want to see him singing it.
Also, I watch the updated 90210 that jodifur mentioned up there, too. I have idea why, but I can't stop watching it now.
Not a beer drinker hardly. But I am a tequila snob. Just what you wanna know about your child's Sunday school teacher. I only drink the good stuff
Dirty little shame in music. I love the " big green tractor" song. And I cannot help but sing along anywhere anytime a song plays and I know the words.
Charles brother plays in a band and I love joining them on stage for drivin' n cryin' straight to hell.
I can confess to enjoying a little Hoedown Throwdown too.........I even know the dance moves.
Even though I have advanced degrees in English, and do love good literature, I prefer to read mindless bestsellers. And even though I work in academia, I'd rather watch Grey's Anatomy than PBS. I like to listen to Miley Cyrus, too, and I giggle along with my 8 year old daughter whenever Joe Jonas is on TV (partly because I do think he's cute, but partly because I get such a kick out of seeing her crush on him!).
